Post Birthday Lessons

since i'm sick and tired of rr, sobrang ayoko na...don't wanna have any prospects muna...i wanna focus on my career...

I wanna thank eileen for the great post on her blog...hehehehe..luv it!

Birthday Special!

here is my simple tribute to everyone who made my summer classes very, very special...

5 PEOPLE I LOVED THIS SUMMER

1. Mr. Gerard Joseph Jumamil- aka Sir Gj..he's my itm prof who is always late for our class...but, despite this, i love him! why? coz he understands his students. baet nya especially when it comes to our grades. he also maximizes our learning. he does not only teaches us must-knows in the computer but also other facts regarding the paths we are about to take, the confusing and busy chartered world. he shares with us his own experience in that world, and gosh! he's so pragmatically great! he knows his stuff, yet he's kinda serious.

2. Mr. Brigham Lim- aka Lim lao shi, Sir Brig...he's my chinese prof and prof in my chinese class (gets?)...he's sooooooooooooooooooooooo considerate and generous in giving us points. my chinese class is definitely a blast of hard-to-memorize words, intonation, confusing chinese grammar, exciting chinese characters, nerve-cracking orals, and of course, a lao shi (teacher) who's very, very funny...my other blockmates in chinese says that he's kinda gay daw coz of the way he speaks and behave. ummm, medyo nga. one more thing, lagi syang inaantok! hehehehe...

3. Mr. Vincenz Serrano- aka Sir Vince...he's my lit14 prof who is very eloquent and a deep thinker...he's plays with words and gets admiration from that...at first, i think he was crushable coz he's cool and handsome compared to other male lit profs (actually, almost male lit profs are gay)...i also thought that he's one of them, but some rumors claim that he is already attached. even raisa said to me that he once courted a woman, a prof in ateneo, perhaps...i dunno what happened...he has got a perfect romantic voice and a smart guy (thanks dearl for the description!) well, if i love gj, dearl loves this guy soooo much! (oops! am i exaggerating too much, dearl?)...and omg! whenever we discussed erotic poems like that of "The Flea" by John Donne, he's so game...very theatrical, i must say!

4. Mr. Rafael Antonio- aka Paeng...my gutsy lit14 classmate who's very, very unique! i, myself does not know what runs on his mind for having such ideas which are cool! he'll always have side comments which are absolutely funny...one time, when sir vince was alluding to the song, "Dust in the Wind", Paeng swiftly raised his hand and told sir vince, "no sir, gone with the wind!"...men! what guts does he have! so cool! besides that, when sir was talking about being banned for not joining the egroup, Paeng told him,"sir! hindi po ako ina-accept sa egroup!"..grabe, the whole class was really laughing...he's the type of student who's not afraid to say what he thinks....i wish i have that kind of guts....

5. Chinese Block esp. Mr. Robin Yu (aka North Greenhills) and Mr. Marlo Reyes (aka ka-luvteam ni elizabeth)...as i said earlier, my chinese block was great! everytime we have our class, i always find myself laughing!...hehehe....Robin, a dead-ringer of Vaness Wu (sabi ni lao shi), is a kind person pla. i really thought he's kinda suplado coz he's chinese. when we shoot our music video for our class project, sobrang astig ni robin! pede plang pandrama si robin in the tune of "Pengyou" (meaning, friend)...and when we asked before of the madison square in san juan, he kept on saying, "north greenhills"......Marlo is the guy who sits alone on the row before us....he always asks good question to lao shi....he's also funny. when we had our shooting, he was my partner, then he kept on telling, "Bakit si lao shi, laging tulog?" hehehe...i thought i was the only one who noticed that trait of our beloved lao shi...hehehehe

*****

FAMOUS EXPRESSIONS THIS SUMMER

1. PRAGMATIC- by sir gj....this word is pragmatically heard by itm11-b students during our pragmatic meetings with the pragmatic sir gj. it's pragmatically a word that comes out from the pragmatic mouth of sir gj....what's so pragmatically pragmatic about this pragmatic statement?

2. DONG BU DONG?- by lim lao shi...he always utters this as a substitute for the english statement, "Do u understand?"....but, he says it with a hidden meaning from it....hmmmmm...you guess...it is pronounced as "tong pu tong"....gets?grrr!

3. LEEWAY- by gj (feeling close!)...means, "bonus", a giveaway....

4. GUYS- by gj...he's so masculine when he says this...actually, he's so pragmatically masculine in whatever pragmatic angle and dimension. (here i go again with the pragmatic thing!)

5. UNDERSTAND- by gj...actually, guys and understand our connected words..

6. SASAKALIN KO NA KAYO, DI KAYO NAG-IISIP- by gj again (see how i love the pragmatic gj?)....since the excel exercises he has given us are so-so hard, we can't help but ask him how to do those pragmatic exercises...so he's left with no other choice but to spill the answers...then out of frustration, he said this phrase, and he's so cute when he said this...go human* endorser!

7. APPROXIMATE, TSUP-TSUP- by sir vince...when we have lit discussions...;-)

8. LECH!-by dearl...(uy! mgkasunod sila!)...we frequently say this word when things are not in favor of us...

***

MY WHEREABOUTS THIS SUMMER (with DEARL)

1. CTC 112- starts the day...(i miss computer terminal #9!)
2. CTC, PARTLY SEC, PATHWAY TO KOSTKA- our marathon road to chinese class...
3. K201- wo de Hanyu ban (my classroom in chinese)
4. DORM- we spend our 3-hour break here...eating our lunch while listening to music in my lapitoppy...having some girl talk, and of course...SLEEP!
5. B206- our airconditioned classroom in lit...i usually pass in front to greet rr.
6. BERCH STAIRS AND FIRST FLOOR- where my moments with rr are held...love those moments!
7. CAF- everyone's hang-out whenever they are hungry!
8. LIB, 1ST FLOOR, ATE IMELDA SECTION- since i'm the financial beadle of our lit14 class, i usually go there to settle all accounts of lit14-p.
9. CATWALK- where dearl and i closes the day with laughters and conversations...men! para kaming mga lasing after a day in a life!
10. RSF- where dearl usually encodes her papers..
11. CE SUO (COMFORT ROOMS)- we have already bought a certain cubicle in berch, kostka, rsf, ctc crs, meaning, sa sobrang dalas na namin doon, alam na namin kung saang cubicle ung ayos at nde..

****

so that's basically it! so much memories to treasure...good times and gipit times....hehehehe...although 6 weeks is just a short span of time compared to regular sem, it speaks alot about a college student life here in ateneo....

after all the effort, puyat, and everything, it is only but proper to....REJOICE! especially in my case...coz after all, JIN TIAN SHI WO DE SHENG RI! enjoy!

Summer Classes End!

at the very last! my summer classes end. it was a combination of tears, sadness, and of course, joy. i'll definitely miss the people whom i've met. generally speaking, they were great!

TEARS...

during my chinese class, we had our final presentation- chinese songs both prayer and a contemporary song. i messed up with my "Ama Namin" (though i've memorized it last night perfectly), and same with our group's contemporary song (Qing fei de yi). sobrang nainis ako kay tsinoy coz he didn't do his part very well. he even kept on telling us that he'll do his job. grrrrr! after our chinese class, i felt like crying and bursting with anger. i even saw maam bautista, my math 19 prof. of course, i greeted her with the "hi maam" effect. she even said, "ang saya nyo, ha?". i wanted to tell her, "Sa math 19 lng nman kmi malungkot, e"...hehehehe...bad girl! good thing, jec and dearl toned down my temper....

SADNESS...

parting is such a sweet sorrow...truly indeed. this how i felt during my itm11 class with sir gj (whom i love!) with the sony ericsson analysis ppt presentation effect as our finale, the messed up presentation in chinese, and finally, my wonderful lit14 class with sir vince (whom dearl loves!)...it really made me sad when i wasn't able to talk even for a second with my one and only super-duper mega superstar, diamond star crush, TISOY. i'm very sure he won't greet me on my 18th bday this tuesday (may 24). aaawww! hurts so much...how can i tell him that it's my bday next week? all i'm asking him is his greetings. ipagkakait pa ba nya sa akin un? well, there are a lot of problems in connection with that. 1) he does not know it 2) may load ba sya? 3) most important: does he even care? huhuhuhuhu....as eileen said in one of our telephone conversations, "shara, loser ka!"...hehehehe....gara!

JOY...

who won't be happy naman, ngayong summer classes are finally over? and one more thing, sir vince returned our first literary analysis, and the heck! i got b+. at first, i was kinda disappointed coz nde ko pa gnawang A. but i saw a note below the paper that requests me to give a hard and soft copy of my paper. he'll kinda use it daw for future anthology of student's essay...shocks! akala ko tlga hopeless nko for literary things...may ibubuga pa pla ako...hehehehe...flattered!

-----

as for now, a 60% worth of ppt presentation and a final literary essay na lng for lit ang mga kelangan kong tapusin. after that, bday vacation is right next to it!

----

for everyone who made my summer very special, thank you so much! i'll forever chersih it as long as i live.....xiexie ni!

Happenings!

MAY 7

ada and i agreed that we wud mit at mini-stop at 630 in the morning. i went there before 630, but ada came after 30 mins. i really prepared for this day for an unknown reason. maybe i just wanted to be on time in shang so that tsinoy wouldn' have a hard time in meeting us (makikisabay lang kasi kami sa kanya on our way to intramuros)...

*******
MAY 6, 9-930 PM

aba! is this for real? i'm talking with tsinoy on the phone? and sobrang haba pa ng conversation namin. well, it's for the field trip...oh, before i forget, he will drive. so it means, i will seat in the passenger's seat, coz that's my consequence...

*******
MAY 7

shocks! i'm not used to seat in the passenger's seat with a guy like tsinoy, driving. now, i know how eileen felt when she experienced the same thing. grr! anyway, his mysterious facade fooled me. he is not the silent type of guy na mabait. it's the total reverse. and when we went home, omg! ultimate bonding with him and other classmates (longhair & our other groupmate) pero sobrang grr!ang topic namin...sobrang below the belt...

after our field trip, i went to my grandpa's 79th bday...and the marasigan clan was together again!;-)

----

MAY 8

omg! i am running out of time! i still have my chinese re-take exam and my lit midterms...at 3pm, i should go to parlor, coz at 430, editha and i are going to manila hotel to attend the debut of our friend, 3sh...grabe! her debut was glamorous yet funky!ROCK THE BOAT!

----

MAY 9

wueaw!(sir vince's way)...my re-take in chinese was cool! i luv it! i also had the chance to have a moment with tisoy, but i felt nothing special. maybe i'm just used to have short conversations with him...walang ultimate bonding...just small talk...men! ano na ba tlga ang status nya!?!?

----

MAY 11

oh! it's tita nenchie and tito dan's 10th wedding anniversary...men! i was their flower girl!;-)

Friday, May 06, 2005

series of unfortunate events

today is my parents' 26th wedding anniversary...and this morning, kim tan and i saw each other again at jolibee, nde kc ata sya papayagan sa debut ni 3sh...

UNFORTUNATELY...

my id is missing, i got no money for my dinner and for tomorrow's field trip...

FORTUNATELY...

i will join almund's car, and for the first time in the philippine history, naka-ym ko si rr....waaaah! i'm hungry!

whatever happens, si tisoy parin!

*singing* hapi bday, joa! shocks! unti-unti nang tumatanda ang mga dear classmates ko. sooner, i will be in the limelight of being a dalaga na (eek, sounds creepy!).

SI TISOY NGA!

when we had our long quiz in our chinese class. i was, again, at the back so as to comply with the "one-seat-apart" convention. when i arrived there, tsinoy asked me, "may powerpoint ba tayo?", then i answered, "meron". men! i felt a flush of fever! i really felt the hot sensation of blushing in my body. that was very strong. even tisoy did not give me that kind of feeling...eek!
however, that day also declared that tisoy is the undisputed, number 1, ultimate winner in my dilemma. tsinoy is kinda complacent with things, esp. with our report. gara! asar sya, ha! my only consolation from him is his speaking voice. he has a very romantic, maarte voice.

NO PAIN, NO GAIN

last wednesday, we had our report in our chinese class. dearl and i really sacrificed a lot, including our itm class. prior to our reporting, i played the role of our group's messenger, like mercury in the roman mythology. i really ran as fast as i could coz we're running out of time. yet, hopelessness came unto me coz we did not have any lcd projector to use. then, another problem came. they did not allow us to use the viewing room because we were too many. we really tried to convince them, and so we became successful in doing so. the other problem we had encountered was that the projector couldn't read the laptop. fortunately, the class who was using the mmr was done, and we transferred there, and the rest was victory. whew!

---

men! i don't know what the heck is with tisoy! maybe dearl is right. during those times when the rule of 3 w

dui bu dui!

grabe, what's happening to me?i simply CANNOT!nde pwede!...maybe na-overwhelmed lang ako. as dearl says, "wag bigyan ng meaning". cguro the person only wants quick and straightforward answers regarding our report. syempre, loyal ako kay a.t.hehehe...*charing*

My drumboy!

anyway, speaking of a.t., this week, dearl told me na his mom pala is admu employee. it means that he avails a discount to his tuition. i asked john paul how much is the discount he can avail from the same scenario (his mom, my aunt, is an admu employee also). he told me it's 65%! okay. now i have an idea on his (a.t.) financial background.
also, he is joining the blue babble batallion again! drumboy! hehehe...like his high school stuff (he was the co-captain of the babble).

---
bu shi...i simply cannot. there is no Rule of Three happenning...hahaha...it means to say, si a.t. parin!hahaha!;-)

long weekend...yeah, it is both gud and bad for me...good, because i can have a longer time to review and rest...bad, because it seems that we have a conflict on our reporting day in chinese....Men!
