Birthday Special!

here is my simple tribute to everyone who made my summer classes very, very special...

5 PEOPLE I LOVED THIS SUMMER

1. Mr. Gerard Joseph Jumamil- aka Sir Gj..he's my itm prof who is always late for our class...but, despite this, i love him! why? coz he understands his students. baet nya especially when it comes to our grades. he also maximizes our learning. he does not only teaches us must-knows in the computer but also other facts regarding the paths we are about to take, the confusing and busy chartered world. he shares with us his own experience in that world, and gosh! he's so pragmatically great! he knows his stuff, yet he's kinda serious.

2. Mr. Brigham Lim- aka Lim lao shi, Sir Brig...he's my chinese prof and prof in my chinese class (gets?)...he's sooooooooooooooooooooooo considerate and generous in giving us points. my chinese class is definitely a blast of hard-to-memorize words, intonation, confusing chinese grammar, exciting chinese characters, nerve-cracking orals, and of course, a lao shi (teacher) who's very, very funny...my other blockmates in chinese says that he's kinda gay daw coz of the way he speaks and behave. ummm, medyo nga. one more thing, lagi syang inaantok! hehehehe...

3. Mr. Vincenz Serrano- aka Sir Vince...he's my lit14 prof who is very eloquent and a deep thinker...he's plays with words and gets admiration from that...at first, i think he was crushable coz he's cool and handsome compared to other male lit profs (actually, almost male lit profs are gay)...i also thought that he's one of them, but some rumors claim that he is already attached. even raisa said to me that he once courted a woman, a prof in ateneo, perhaps...i dunno what happened...he has got a perfect romantic voice and a smart guy (thanks dearl for the description!) well, if i love gj, dearl loves this guy soooo much! (oops! am i exaggerating too much, dearl?)...and omg! whenever we discussed erotic poems like that of "The Flea" by John Donne, he's so game...very theatrical, i must say!

4. Mr. Rafael Antonio- aka Paeng...my gutsy lit14 classmate who's very, very unique! i, myself does not know what runs on his mind for having such ideas which are cool! he'll always have side comments which are absolutely funny...one time, when sir vince was alluding to the song, "Dust in the Wind", Paeng swiftly raised his hand and told sir vince, "no sir, gone with the wind!"...men! what guts does he have! so cool! besides that, when sir was talking about being banned for not joining the egroup, Paeng told him,"sir! hindi po ako ina-accept sa egroup!"..grabe, the whole class was really laughing...he's the type of student who's not afraid to say what he thinks....i wish i have that kind of guts....

5. Chinese Block esp. Mr. Robin Yu (aka North Greenhills) and Mr. Marlo Reyes (aka ka-luvteam ni elizabeth)...as i said earlier, my chinese block was great! everytime we have our class, i always find myself laughing!...hehehe....Robin, a dead-ringer of Vaness Wu (sabi ni lao shi), is a kind person pla. i really thought he's kinda suplado coz he's chinese. when we shoot our music video for our class project, sobrang astig ni robin! pede plang pandrama si robin in the tune of "Pengyou" (meaning, friend)...and when we asked before of the madison square in san juan, he kept on saying, "north greenhills"......Marlo is the guy who sits alone on the row before us....he always asks good question to lao shi....he's also funny. when we had our shooting, he was my partner, then he kept on telling, "Bakit si lao shi, laging tulog?" hehehe...i thought i was the only one who noticed that trait of our beloved lao shi...hehehehe

FAMOUS EXPRESSIONS THIS SUMMER

1. PRAGMATIC- by sir gj....this word is pragmatically heard by itm11-b students during our pragmatic meetings with the pragmatic sir gj. it's pragmatically a word that comes out from the pragmatic mouth of sir gj....what's so pragmatically pragmatic about this pragmatic statement?

2. DONG BU DONG?- by lim lao shi...he always utters this as a substitute for the english statement, "Do u understand?"....but, he says it with a hidden meaning from it....hmmmmm...you guess...it is pronounced as "tong pu tong"....gets?grrr!

3. LEEWAY- by gj (feeling close!)...means, "bonus", a giveaway....

4. GUYS- by gj...he's so masculine when he says this...actually, he's so pragmatically masculine in whatever pragmatic angle and dimension. (here i go again with the pragmatic thing!)

5. UNDERSTAND- by gj...actually, guys and understand our connected words..

6. SASAKALIN KO NA KAYO, DI KAYO NAG-IISIP- by gj again (see how i love the pragmatic gj?)....since the excel exercises he has given us are so-so hard, we can't help but ask him how to do those pragmatic exercises...so he's left with no other choice but to spill the answers...then out of frustration, he said this phrase, and he's so cute when he said this...go human* endorser!

7. APPROXIMATE, TSUP-TSUP- by sir vince...when we have lit discussions...;-)

8. LECH!-by dearl...(uy! mgkasunod sila!)...we frequently say this word when things are not in favor of us...
